HAVANA, January 3, 2012.- As it was informed last December 12, 2011, Pope Benedicto XVI expressed his intention to make an apostolic visit Cuba and Mexico.

After coordinations between the organizers of the Pope visits, the Cuban authorities and the Conference of Apostolic Bishops of Cuba, it was agreed that the Pope Benedicto XVI will visit our country next March 26-28, 2012.

The Pope will arrive to Santiago de Cuba from Mexico, where he will preside over a mass in the Revolution Square “Antonio Maceo”, andhewill visit the Benedicto XVI will later visit Havana where he will hold an official meeting with Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State  and Ministers; he will also meet with Cuban catholic bishops and he will preside over the Saint Mass at the Revolution Square prior to his return to Rome.
