Colonial house on the historical core, built in 1850 which was declared by the Commission of Provincial Patrimony as Patrimonial Value, due to the conservation of its Spanish typical colonial architecture, roofs made of wood and very high, thick walls, arches, grills, floors of drawn mosaics, French carpentry in doors and windows, and also, because outstanding fighters of cuban independence lived there in the XIX century. The house is located in first floor, it is safe and with a pleasant and calm atmosphere. It has a wide room where you can read a book or to interpret musical pieces in an old piano. In the dining room you can use music set, radio or TV and to sit in comfortable armchairs. In the house there is a roomy colonial patio with garden plants and fruit trees, and for that reason it is the ideal place to get drinks or to entertain the children. Two rooms for rent with bathroom en-suite: one has 2 double beds up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 younger than 18 years) and the other has a double bed. The rooms are very wide and comfortable, with big windows that provides natural light. There are sinks, mirrors and fans. The bathroom is big, with shower, cold and hot water the 24 hours, mirror, sinks and toilette. The sheets and towels are included in the price as well as the care of the suitcases if clients requests it. They offers culinary services, either Creole or international food. There is a near parking for 2 CUC daily. It is also offered laundry service. The guest are free to go out and to go back to the house whenever they want. The owners also offers information about the places of tourist interest in the area. They also can manage bicycles, motorcycles or cars for hours or days. It is located in the historical core of the city, to 50 meters away from the Iglesia Mayor (Biggest Church) and the Plaza Central (Central Square). It is near from the recreational and cultural centers of the city. In the city there are 3 restaurants that offer dinners. Around the square are the night centers: El Circulo Juvenil, the Cabaret ""Las Leyendas"" (The Legends) and ""El Guije"", as well as, the House of the Culture and the Troubadour Park. There is also the first museum of popular art in Cuba shown the history of the traditional Sprees of Remedios, the Museum of Music and the Museum of local History. Leaving the city 3 Km away is the Museum of the Vapour, where you can see an old sugar cane mill with its railroads and a very old vapor train that still carries out an interesting trip toward the city. The beautiful Santa Mar?a, Las Brujas (The Witches) and Perla Blanca (White Pearl) beaches, can be visited traveling in car for a road built in the sea, with more of 40 bridges, in single 40 minutes.
