His Captain use to lives here, One of the inspirations for the "old man"!! Gregorio also gave Hemingway his nickname Papa and hunted German subs off the coast during the war. Visit Hemingway’s haunt La Terrazza on Cojimar harbor... see where Papa kept his boat! See the Ernest Hemingway monument presented by the fisherman of Cojimar from melted propellers.
